This is a great local race. The course was nicely laid out and ran along an asphalt tail. The water stops were adequate. The swag was great with Drawstring back pack, awesome hoodie long sleeve cotton champion shirt, with plenty of snacks with hot chocolate at the finish

The only thing I didn't like about this race is that they record a separate finish time roster for the early starters. In 2020 were only 5 early starters (and 239 regular half marathoners). ...Which makes the burden of proof that the race has a minimum number of entrants a little more problematic if you are a walker like me. In any case, this race absolutely does count for early starters in your half fanatics record. Other than that, the course was well marked and monitored with adequate hydration stations, food, carb gel, porta-potties, etc. The off-road trail is very scenic, paved and not interrupted by vehicle traffic. The food and goodies at the end were excellent. ...As well as a nice medal and a technical fabric hoodie that I really liked. The organizers are very polite, friendly, and professional. All in all a good race to run.
