Okc 2025
By pamela massengale on May 7, 2025
Lots of aid stations except mile 11-12.
Lots of crowd support. Most fun course of any run.
168 seconds of silence, very moving.
Medals and shirts awesome

Run to Remember
By Heather Puckett on May 4, 2025
Always a moving experience to run the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. Such a moving run. Mostly a great experience however the finish line funnels into Scissortail park. It’s a bottleneck hell. Not a fan at f that part.

OKC Memorial Marathon.
By Karen Woolly on May 4, 2025
As always this half marathon didn’t disappoint. The crowds keep you moving and the participation is outstanding. The route takes you through beautiful OKC ending near the Paycom. The program at the memorial before the race was awesome. Great race to run a half marathon.

Great course support, but other issues
By Alda #Team Sloth on May 8, 2023
This race was difficult to get to corrals for slower paces. There were only two people at gear check. We arrived 1½ early and still barely made it to the corral in time. Course support was great and the extra volunteers at aid stations were fabulous. I was upset because I signed up for the Why We Run Challenge. They ran out of swag. I asked about it. All I got was a shoulder shrug. I felt like if we sign up for a challenge, race directors should order enough for those that pre register and order a bit extra.

Fantastic Race
By Beverly A on May 8, 2023
The State really supports this race. The crowd support is amazing. I ran in the 5k on Saturday and the 1/2 marathon on Sunday.

This is a race that gets to my heart every time. The 169 seconds of silence at the beginning of each race to honor those who died. The banners hanging with the pictures of the 169 at the end of the race as you reach the finish line.

Just one gripe...
By Denise Smith (#13609) on May 7, 2023
I love this race and I have ran it for the last 9 years. The only gripe I have, albeit maybe petty, but I sure would have preferred a finisher shirt instead of a towel. Crowd support is awesome. Very humbling to run to the finish through 168 banners in memory of the people lost on April 19, 1995. I will run this race as long as I can.
