This half is a fun, community minded event that wind you through the north side of town. The neighborhoods come out to cheer you on, well supported with aid stations and lots of music to make the miles go fast. The course ends on the famous "suicide hill" before cross the finish line on the town square. Great swag, medal and finishers hoodie awaits everyone.

Weather Issues

The race, support, medal, shirts, and swag were great. The logistics weren’t. They postponed the race from Saturday to Sunday but said expo on Friday was still on. They did not allow race day pick up. I had to cancel my AirBNB and drive 2 hours one way to pick my packet up. On my drive home, they sent another email that they were going to allow race day pick up. The expo was not that exciting and they could have given the swag bags at race day pick up. If the weather hadn’t messed their communications up, I probably would have loved the race more. I still don’t love races that won’t allow race morning pick up for out of towners, though.

Bentonville is a very well supported and planned event. Beautiful area with a mostly easy course. Good expo and finish line event with great swag and huge medals!

Very well supported race with Aid stations every 2 miles..RD was very supportive of the slower runners and wanted to give the slow runners the same experience as the faster runners.

Great city support, Mother Nature was a challenge w sub freezing temps, a decent course and the HILL at the end is steep but manageable. A fun area for a Half. Fayetteville is just 25-30 mins South.

While this year's event was fought against mother nature, this is a well organized, fun and supported race. The course has some nice challenges with a festival finish. From the runner expo to the finish, this is by far my favorite half.

I loved everything about this race minus the 12 degree wind chill and snow. Course was good, not too hilly. One big hill and mile 12 but it wasn't as bad as I expected. Got 2 shirts, a tee in packet and a finishers long sleeve hoodie. Great Great race packet. Their were all kind of goodies in it. Highly recommend
