This year went so much better than the previous years I have run. Better race support and better finish and exit area.

Great organization, support & weather!

This race is unique in the fact that it has evolved into that big city feel. The new race sponsor BMW has obviously dished out some money to have a grandstand style start/finish line (granted they were allowed to line the first mile of the race with BMW promo cars). But for full marathoners, you will also experience some of the 50 or so year tradition of this race with scenic runs down a 2 lane bike trail around White Rock Lake.

GREAT race! Dallas always puts on an awesome event. The crowds are the best I've seen. It doesn't matter the temp or conditions, the residents of Turtle Creek, Highland Park, Lakewood and Swiss Avenue come out and support the runners. They had Meb K. Ryan Hall, Deena Castor, and a few others passing out medals to the finishers. REALLY COOL and nice touch. I highly recommend this event.
